IMPORTATNT NOTE.

Comfortable and light clothing is the most convenient way to travel around Sri Lanka. Passengers should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or tight-fitting clothes when visiting temples, religious sites or official buildings. Shoes and hats must be removed before entering a temple or private home. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat or cap and mosquito repellent, can also be of great help during the trip.
